Some good news at last...!

15000 rioting people
100's of riot police
tear gas hanging in the air for hours,
two days of transport strike!

Did I say good news?!!!

Well yes...

because
despite all the carrying on in Athens
our beautiful  Harry
ignored it all
and he and his team
played wonderfully and he brought home
a bronze medal
from the
World Special Olympics!

His parents, sister, aunt and Gregoir
all braved the elements to watch
him play.

Harry
Papa would have been soooooo proud!

and as usual you continue to amaze me
with your sporting abilities,
your sportsmanship,
your team spirit,
your indomitable spirit and your
truly wonderful sense of humour.
You enrich my life Harry
and I love you very much

Goodnight

  6. Dearest Julienne,

This post revealed a lot; in-between the lines... Papa would have been soooo proud! Are you speaking about your husband? Sorry to learn about his loss.
But indeed, Harry made your heart sing and for sure Papa watched him from heaven.
With Jane, I also wish you a healing time and may this all be some balm to your soul!
A big hug and lots of love,
    Mariette

  15. Hello,
I visited your blog today. I saw you on Castles, Crowns, and Cottages. I have to say, I adore your name, as that is my oldest daughter's middle name. Your blog has alot of creative ideas, including recipes that my girls can try out. We just started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you and seeing your wonderful ideas. Hope to hear from you, and have a lovely Sunday.
